扎扎2009年1月1日出生在叙利亚西部城市哈曼，她第一次遇见乒乓球是在5岁，作为职业乒乓球运动员的哥哥捧回的奖杯让小扎扎第一次知道了什么是乒乓球。

Zaza was born in the western Syrian city, Haman, on January 1, 2009. She first met table tennis when he was 5 years old. As a professional table tennis player, his older brother took home the trophy and made Zaza know what table tennis is for the first time.

而扎扎也是利用哥哥锻炼的机会，与比自己大多岁的男性运动员进行竞技，而这个训练的机会也是很大程度提升了扎扎的乒乓球技能。

叙利亚乒乓球协会主席萨马·卡哈里表示，她的故事在叙利亚年轻人中引起巨大反响，激励着众多叙利亚年轻人踏上逐梦之路。

在7月24日的东京奥运会女子乒乓球单打预赛中，亨德·扎扎迎来了她的奥运首秀。面对奥地利华裔选手刘佳，扎扎最终被淘汰，结束了东京奥运会之旅。输球的扎扎没有过于沮丧，她还拿出手机与刘佳自拍，并给对手送上鼓励。“我希望拿下这场比赛的胜利，但对手很强，让我学到了一些东西，尤其是这是我第一届奥运会。”扎扎说。

如果不是实力超群，她也不可能进入国家队，代表国家参赛。教练认为，扎扎之所以这次失利，是因为大赛经验不足，在现有的经济条件下，每年扎扎只能参加最多三次国际大赛，所以无论技术还是心理承受能力，都没办法得到很好的训练。

If it were not for her superior strength, she would not be able to enter the national team and compete on behalf of the country. The coach believes that the reason why Zaza lost this time is that he has insufficient competition experience. Under the existing economic conditions, Zaza can only participate in international competitions up to three times a year, so he can't get good training in terms of technical and psychological endurance.
