The weather is very bad today. We stayed at home all the time. My daughter learned the last five new sentences of lesson 3.

on the table.

We begin to learn lesson 4 today.Fortunately, the five new words in this lesson are all very easy for my daughter. So it only took her little time to conquer them.

我们今天开始学习第四课。幸运的是，这节课的五个新单词对我女儿来说都很容易。所以她只花了一点时间就征服了它们。

She is going to take the final examination of this term tomorrow. I hope that learning English has not affected her.These five new words she learned today are as follows.

My daughter’s ears are very sensitive. She can distinguish many different kinds of sounds.

我女儿的耳朵很敏感。她能分辨许多不同种类的声音。

Most of the time, when my wife drives motorcycle passes by our apartment, we just sit in our sitting-room, and my daughter can distinguish it correctly just according to the sounds. I can not do it at all because we live on the fifth floor.

大多数时候，当我的妻子开着摩托车经过我们的公寓时，我们只是坐在我们的起居室里，我女儿可以根据声音正确地辨别出来，而我根本做不到，因为我们住在五楼。

I encouraged her to learn English from the foreigner in the VCD tonight. I told her that she had a good hearing ability. So she should treasure it.

今晚,我鼓励她在VCD上向那个外国人学习英语。我告诉她她的听力很好。所以她应该珍惜它。

I also told her that she could not always depend on me. Because I am old, my spoken English is not as pure as the foreigner.

When she heared tha I said I was old. She told me that I was not old. I was even not as old as a dog. When my wife and I heard these funny comment words, we could not help laughing.

The conversation she learned today is a little longer. But the content is simple. She grasped the conversation quickly.

I give her an oral test every night.

我每天晚上都给她做口头测试。

First, I read each sentence in English. And she translated them into Chinese. Then I read each Chinese sentence, she could blurt out in English quickly.

首先，我读每一个英语句子。然后她把它们翻译成中文。然后我读每个中文句子，她能很快地用英语脱口而出。

Moon:Those are waves.
