考点一、news 的用法

news n. 新闻；消息

news是由north east west south四个表示"方向"的单词首字母组成； news paper newspaper 报纸

不可数名词，没有复数形式，不能用冠词 a 和many修饰，可以用some/ a lot of/ much / a piece of 等修饰。

一些消息some news 很多消息 a lot of news

一条新闻 a piece of news 两条消息 two pieces of news

注意观察下面句中动词单复数的使用：

(1) Is there any news about China in today's newspaper?

(2) There are two pieces of news about China in today's newspaper.

考点二、how 和 what 引导的感叹句（中考高频考点）

牢记三个主要句型:

(1) How 形容词/副词 主语 谓语！how 修饰形容词和副词

eg: How wonderful the Great Wall is!

How fast they are running!

(2) What a/an 形容词 （单数）名词 主语 谓语!

(3) What 形容词 （复数/ 不可数）名词 主语 谓语！what修饰名词。

eg: What a fine day it is! 多么好的天啊！

What an interesting story it is! 多么有趣的故事啊！

What beautiful flowers they are! 多么漂亮的花啊！

What fine weather it is! 多么好的天气啊！

感叹句的考查点：一是选择how 还是what; 二是what 引导的感叹句有没有冠词a /an。

应对措施：背熟这三个句型，对号入座即可。
