为什么欧洲装空调这么贵（装台空调要花十万）

Europe is set to bake in another extreme heatwave next week with forecasters warning temperatures could climb higher than 40C again.

欧洲下周将迎来另一波极端热浪：天气预报警告称，气温可能再次攀升至40摄氏度以上。

France, the uk, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Norway and the Netherlands are all at risk of being engulfed by the second heatwave.

法国、英国、西班牙、葡萄牙、德国、奥地利、挪威和荷兰……都有被这第二波热浪所吞没的危险。

对于许多国内小伙伴来说，咱们这儿虽然也热，但至少还能……靠空调续命。

没有空调的夏天，想都不敢想。

但是，美媒CNN给咱们科普了一个“可怕”的数字……

在欧洲，拥有空调的家庭不到5%。

Less than 5% of all European households are air-conditioned, compared with more than 90% in the United States, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA).

根据国际能源署的数据，只有不到5%的欧洲家庭安装了空调。而这一比例在美国超过了90%。

这么热的天气，家里没有空调，那真是……

对于欧洲人民为啥不在家装空调，网上给出的解释有很多。什么“欧洲纬度高气温湿润”啦，什么“不装空调保护环境”啦，说法五花八门。

但最主流的声音则是：在欧洲，空调真的太贵了

有外媒甚至表示，欧洲的空调是奢侈品般的存在：

在欧洲的大部分地区，空调常被视为一种奢侈品，甚至是“美国式的放纵”。

这又是“奢侈品”又是“放纵”的，一台空调在欧洲到底卖多少钱？？

主页君查了下空调在英国的价格，发现最古早传统的“窗式空调”（内嵌式）售价在500镑起步，也就是人民币4260块。("Window air conditioning units start at around £500 for a basic model..." - thegreenage.co.uk)

放在欧洲，4000多块钱应该不算啥吧？

这笔钱对于收入正常的欧洲家庭来说，自然算不上一笔“巨款”。但空调的昂贵本就不在机器本身，而在于——安装费。

例如在巴黎，装空调的费用就高到离谱：

For a family-sized Paris apartment of roughly 1,070 square feet (100 square meters), Devlin said that installing air conditioning could cost from $13,300 to $17,700 (12,000 to 16,000 euros).

（空调安装公司的）德福林说，对于一套面积约为1070平方英尺（100平米）的巴黎家庭公寓来说，安装空调的成本可能在13300美元至17700美元（人民币91672-122000元）之间。

Even so, in the last five to six months, he said, he has had an installation almost every day. On Wednesday, the first day of the intense heat, he received more than 40 calls for consultations.

当然了，上面这个只算极端个例。在英国，安装一台空调的费用大概是1000镑，也就是人民币8523块：

The installation costs are around £1,000 per indoor unit. Therefore a single room unit can be installed for around £1,000 and a six room multi-split unit will be around £6,000, depending on the complexity of the installation.

每台空调的安装成本约为1000英镑。因此，一个单人房的单机空调安装成本为1000英镑，而一个6人间的多联机空调则为6000英镑，因为后者安装的复杂性（更高）。

也就是说，如果三口之家想给两个卧室各装一台空调，那起码也要2000英镑（人民币17047块）了。

A lot of people in hotter countries have air conditioning as standard in their homes. We don’t. It’s considered a luxury item in the Uk & is hideously expensive. We have to cope with terrible heat during our summers now, with little to help keep us cool.
