stickto与sticking to有什么区别（关于stick的相关表达）

1、Stick：

• As a noun: a piece of wood, a short branch from a tree

作为名词：棍棒；枝条

• As a verb: to stick- when something adheres to a surface

作为动词：粘贴；张贴；插入；刺入

E.g. When I was a kid, I got gum stuck in my hair.

2、Stick to:

• 字面意思：粘着

E.g.The gum is stuck to my shoe.

香糖粘我鞋上了。

• 比喻意义：坚持做什么或者使用什么，尤其是在一个困难的情况下。

E.g. You should stick to it and never give up.

你应该坚持下去，永不放弃。

E.g. Make a decision and stick to it.

勇敢地做决定，然后坚持下去。

• stick-to-itive 有耐性的

• stick-to-itiveness 韧性

3、 be stuck with (someone or something):被……纠缠无法摆脱

4、Stick by： To continue to support or be loyal to (someone or something)

坚持支持某人或者坚持履行（诺言、责任等）

E.g. I promised to support you and I’ll stick by my promise.

我答应过会支持你，我会坚守我的诺言的。

E.g.No matter how tough life would be, I will always stick by you and see it through.

无论什么生活多么艰难，我都会一直支持你，同你一起度过困难。

E.g. I’ll stick by you all the time.

5、 be stuck on someone: To be very attracted to someone or to be in love with them 迷上某人

E.g. Cynthia has been stuck on Haozai’s voice since day 1.

从第一天起，Cynthia就被昊仔的声音给迷住了。

E.g. I’m stuck on my husband. He is so awesome.

我是我老公的迷妹，他超有魅力。
