吃晚餐到底是eat（吃晚餐到底是eat）

敲黑板！“have dinner”和“eat dinner”都有吃晚饭的意思，但是中间的区别可大了，小伙伴们跟外国友人交流时一定要注意用法鸭！

两者的区别

have dinner表示的是邀请别人吃晚餐，是非常正式的；而eat dinner却表示只要填饱肚子就可以，随便应付一下。

如果你愿意的话，我会请我那个姐姐，还有她和我们一起吃晚饭。

• 喝汤到底是 drink soup 还是eat soup呢？

因为文化的不同英文中的

soup和中文的“汤”是有细微区别的

就如西餐中的汤

一般都很稠，有奶油、肉、蔬菜等

要用勺子送到嘴里吃

所以在英文中汤不是“喝”的, 而是“吃”的

喝汤翻译成“eat soup”才是对的！

所以凡是需要咀嚼 吞咽都要用eat

而drink是喝纯液体的东西

比如：drink milk 喝牛奶

drink water 喝水

eat medicine≠吃药

上面说啦，eat有咀嚼的意思，但是我们吃药的时候并不咀嚼呀，不然那得多苦。

正确表达：吃药=take medicine

Her doctor says she has to rest and take medicine twice a day.

医生说她必须休息，并且每天要吃两次药。

严格按医嘱正确服药，并服完整个疗程。

当然啦如果觉得别扭我们也可以用中性词"have"来表示

have some medicine=吃药

have a candy=吃糖

have a drink=喝酒、喝水
