after接时间点用什么时态（After的用法及考点）

after 具有介词、副词和连词词性。可表示时间、位置、次序等等。

1.after用作介词有下面几个意思。

1）after表示在时间上“在……以后，晚于”。比如：

We usually go for a walk after supper.我们通常晚饭后散步。They arrived shortly after 5.他们是在5点钟刚过到达的。

2）after表示位置，次序时，主要意思是“在……后面”。比如：

Your name comes after mine in the list. 在名单上你的名字在我的后面。He entered the room after his father.他跟在父亲后面进了房间。Shut the door after you.随手关门。

3）after表示“接连在后”。比如：Day after day the rain continued.雨一天天地下个不停。It seems to be just one problem after another.看来问题是一个接着一个。

2.after可以用作副词，表示“以后，继后，（一段时间）以后,后来”。表示“以后，继后”时，多用于名词后面。比如：He came on Friday and I arrived the day after.他周五来的，我比他迟到一天。He fell ill on Sunday and died five days after.他星期天病倒了，五天后去世。

3.after用作连词，表示“在……以后”。比如：

I'll call you after I've bought the gift.我买完礼物后就给你打电话。You may go home after I come back.我回来以后你就可回家。The party broke up after the clock struck twelve.时钟响过十二点后，舞会就散了。I found your coat after you had left the house.你离开这个房子后我就找到了你的外衣。

4.要点

1）一般情况下，after和现在时间不发生关系，如果想表达“我走后没有收到过她的信。”，应该是Since my departure，I have heard nothing from him，而不能写成After my departure, I heard nothing from him。

2）after不用在一般将来时的句子中。如果说“我一个月后去见你”，要写成：I’ll see you in a month.，这里要用介词in，不能用after。

但要说某个特定的未来日期或时间时，可以用after。比如：after three months三个月后；after a few minutes 几分钟后。I'll be busy after nine o’clock.我九点钟以后就忙了。

5.考点

在after引导的时间状语从句中，从句的时态常用一般现在时来表示将来的含义，也就是说after后不用一般将来时。比如：I shall cook after he comes back.我将在他回来以后做饭。
