Don't go there 是什么意思?

“not go there”是一句外国人经常说的口语。当别人聊到你的痛点或隐私，你不想继续聊下去，想结束话题的时候，就可以说You don't go there来表达“你别和我提这个事了，不要再往下聊了”。这个表达有时也会在中间加个even强调一下，not even go there表示“提都别提”。

例句

A: Wouldn't it be nice if we lived together. We could see each other every day.

如果我们住在一起不是很好吗? 我们可以每天见到对方。

B: Don't go there, Sweetie. You know I'm not ready for that yet.

英文释义：

US expression used in the New England area (most frequently in Maine) by persons being asked for directions to a far distant location that cannot be accessed without extensive, complicated directions.

美国俚语，常用于新英格兰地区(尤其缅因州)，用来回复如何去一个根本就无法达到的地方，除非通过一系列复杂的手段。

翻译成中文大概有两种方式，1️⃣表达“那地方天涯海角远着呢……”，就凭我们现在的能力根本到不了。2️⃣表示“这个问题没法解决”，你没有明确的工具或者手段你就别想解决这个问题了。

be right there

英文释义：

To be very close to arriving at the location of the listener (or recipient of the message). It typically indicates that one is actively en route, and can be used as a standalone set phrase.

非常接近听者(或消息接收者)的位置。它通常表明某人正在积极的前往的途中，并且可以作为一个独立的短语使用。

中文译作“马上到;马上就来;很快就到那”。

例句

I'm around the corner, so I'll be right there.

put it there

"put it there" 除了字面上的“放在那儿”的意思之外，在口语中还有一个常见的意思：

You say 'Put it there!' to someone when you are asking them to shake hands with you, because you agree with them or want to congratulate them.

当你请求某人与你握手时你就会说“Put it there!”，因为你赞同他们的观点或想祝贺他们。

表示“握个手，一言为定”，常见于商务场合或者职场上，表达双方“意见一致;达成协议”。
