4.Fast food is the same around the world, but street food is different in every country.
快餐在世界各地都是一样的，但是街头小吃在每个国家都是不同的。
看一遍完整的介绍：
Street food is fast and easy Food. People buy it outdoors-in markets, at bus stations, at the beach and in other public places. Fast food (pizza, hamburgers) isn't street food. Fast food is the same around the world, but street food is different in every country.
后面有两道题：
第一题是给出了三篇小短文，分别介绍了三个国家的街边小吃。这三篇小短文中有些词给出了两个选项，需要选择正确的一个。
先来看第一篇小短文。

1.There is /are much/ many vegetarians in INDIA; so much/ many types of Indian street food haven't got some/ any meat.
由There is /are much/ many vegetarians in INDIA这个句子中的vegetarians（素食主义者）这个可数名词复数可知，there 后面用are和many。
前半个句子是：
There are many vegetarians in INDIA;
印度有很多素食者；
由so much/ many types of Indian street food haven't got some/ any meat. 句子中的types（种类）这个可数名词复数可知，so 后面用many。
由have't got 否定式可知，meat前面用any。
后半个句子是：
so many types of Indian street food haven't got any meat.
所以许多种类的印度街头小吃都没有肉。
第1句完整的句子是：
There are many vegetarians in INDIA; so many types of Indian street food haven't got any meat.
印度有很多素食者，所以许多种类的印度街头小吃都没有肉。
2.Chaat(small pancakes with Indian sauce and some / any yoghurt in them) is/are a/ an Popular street food.
some yoghurt表示一些酸奶；
由a/an可知，谓语动词应是单数，所以用is；
Popular首字母发音是/p/，它是辅音音素，所以前面用不定冠词a。
这个句子就是：
Chaat(small pancakes with Indian sauce and some yoghurt in them) is a popular street food.
Chaat（小煎饼，里面有印度酱和一些酸奶）是一种很受欢迎的街头小吃。

3.Much/Many people like pani puri, too.
People是可数名词复数，前面用many。
这个句子就是：
Many people like pani puri, too.
许多人也喜欢pani puri。
4.Pani puris is/are balls with potatoes and sauce.
由句子中的balls这个可数名词复数可知，应用are。
这个句子就是：
Pani puris are balls with potatoes and sauce.
Pani puris是带土豆和酱汁的球。

There are many vegetarians in INDIA; so many types of Indian street food haven't got any meat. Chaat(small pancakes with Indian sauce and some yoghurt in them) is a popular street food. Many people like pani puri, too. Pani puris are balls with potatoes and sauce.

corn是不可数名词，所以用much。
这个句子就是：

2.In MEXICO, there is/ are corn with butter and cheese everywhere.
corn是不可数名词，所以用is。
这个句子就是：
In MEXICO, there is corn with butter and cheese everywhere.
在墨西哥，到处都有玉米、黄油和奶酪。

3.Also, the Mexican bread, tortilla, is/ are often from corn.
bread是不可数名词，所以用is。
这个句子就是：
Also, the Mexican bread, tortilla, is often from corn.

4.There is/ are usually beans and vegetables in tortillas.
由句中的beans这个可数名词复数可知，应选are。

由句中的meat不可数名词可知，there后面用is。
肯定句中有some。
这个句子就是：

但是要小心——墨西哥人也喜欢在玉米饼里放辣椒!

big的首字母发音是辅音音素/b/，所以用不定冠词a。

3.You can buy soup, meat kebabs, chicken and much /many types of salads.
由句中的types这个可数名词复数可知，应用many。
这个句子是：
