周末去海边go to the seaside不准确

去海边玩，一般是在沙滩上吹吹海风，在海里游游泳。seaside表面上是海边的意思，但具体指海边的城镇；

seaside tour=沿海城市旅游（也可以是海岛游）

去海边=go to the beach

在沙滩上玩耍≠play on the beach

on the beach=在沙滩上(具体的位置就在沙滩上)

at the beach=在海边的范围 (包括海水和沙滩)

让我们去沙滩玩耍吧！

Let's hang out at the beach

hang out=出去玩，出去浪

play比较适合小孩子，成人说play together,有可能被误会成羞羞哒的意思哦

晒太阳怎么表达？

bask in the sun=(坐着或者躺着）享受晒太阳

我躺在沙滩上晒太阳

I'm basking in the sun on the beach

catch the sun=（不情愿的）晒太阳

淋雨也可以用catch这个单词，catch the rain

晒黑了千万不能用black

用颜色形容皮肤，会被外国人认为有种族歧视。

tanned=晒黑（小麦色）

Where have you been over the summer? You look tanned.

你一夏天去哪了？看起来晒黑了。

tanned skin=小麦肤色

tanning是动词，把皮肤晒黑

I spent most of the time tanning at the beach.

我大部分时间在海边晒太阳

You have a pale skin which doesn't tan easily.

你皮肤太白了，不容易晒黑
