这是 Peter, Paul and Mary 三人组合，在1965年灌录的一首歌。

这歌词的内容，是一个长辈与一位十六岁小姑娘的对话，讨论过于年轻结婚，所可能面对的问题。但年轻小姑娘没有听取长辈的劝告，最后结果因为某些原因，婚礼没有在星期一早晨举行…...。

很多国家都以十八岁为合法成年年龄，十六岁心智还不成熟，如果结婚的话，因为对家庭生活承担能力有限，问题一定会很多。所以必须听成年长辈的意见，不能一时意气用事，影响一生。
