好听意义独特的英文名怎么起（你的英文名老外都在笑）

To tell the turth, someone`s English name,it sounds stupid or makes westerners think of something weird.

很多人都会给自己起英文名,不过问题来了！很多人乱起英文名，因此西方人听到某些名字会觉得听起来很二甚至会让人浮想联翩奇怪的事物，快来看看你有没有中招！

• Do not pick a name that you think sounds cool or trendy, because Americans will think it sounds stupid不要选你自己认为听起来很酷很时髦的名字因为美国人听起来会觉得很傻
• Do not pick a name because your friends think it sounds cute, because your friends are not the Americans you have to interact with in the future不要取你朋友觉得很可爱的名字，如果你朋友不是美国人（或英国人），不是你未来打交道的外国人
• Do not translate some positive-sounding word in your language into English and make that into your name不要翻译你自己母语中积极向上的词作为你的英文名字

选英文名必看4个小技巧

• Choose a name from the 100 most popular names on the websets（在这些选名网站上）选取前100最受欢迎的名字，如果不想跟比人重复就选排名11--99的
• If possible, choose a name that sounds somewhat similar to your real name如果能选择到跟自己名字发音相近的名字可能你更喜欢
• Do not choose a variation as your official name别取变化形式的名字作为自己的官方名字，比如 Jacky, Ricky, or Bobby. These are nicknames that Americans call their children, so they are not taken seriously for adults.这些都是美国人叫他们孩子的小名而不是叫成人
• Do not worry about what a name means too much不用特别在意你取的英文名字的意思，说实话只有国内人很在意会问你英文名字的意思，而在美国很多美国人也不知道自己的名字所代表的意思，几乎没人在乎英文名字的真实含义。（因为人家也不乱起名字）
