2. 掌握must和mustn’t的用法。

一、Warm up

出示信号灯图片，询问：What are they? Do you know?

1.表达某人必须做某事的句型：... must...

【句型结构】主语十must 动词原形( 其他).

【重点解析】

must是情态动词，意为“必须”

must没有人称和数的变化，与其搭配使用的动词用原形。

例：-Can I watch TV first?我可以先看电视吗?

-No，you must finish your homework first. 不，你必须先完成你的家庭作业。

2.表达某人禁止做某事的句型：... mustn't...

【课文应用】 You mustn't cross the road now.现在你禁止穿过马路。

【句型结构】主语 mustn't 动词原形( 其他).

【重点解析】

mustn't意为“禁止”。

mustn't没有人称和数的变化，与其搭配使用的动词用原形。

例：You mustn't swim here. It's dangerous!你禁止在这里游泳。危险!

3.对于must 开头一般疑问句，若要作否定回答，可用needn't，不用mustn't

"Must I come over tonight?" “我今晚必须过来吗?”“不必。”

肯定回答：Yes,you must. 否定回答："No, you needn't."

4. must 与 have to

（1）must 强调主观上“必须”。

例如: You must be careful when you cross the road.

当你穿过马路时，你必须小心。

（2）have to 强调客观上“必须”。

例如: I had to get up early yesterday. 昨天我必须很早起床。

5.must 和can用法

1）must和can都是情态动词，后面跟动词原形。常用的情态动词还有：should、 may 等。

2）can的基本用法：

①表示能力。He can sing.

②表示许可。Can I go now?

③表示请求。Can I have some paper?

3) must的基本用法：

①表示必须的意思。You must do your homework now.

②表示必然的结果。The sun must rises from the east.太阳必定从东方升起。

mustn't却表示"不要、不能、禁止"的意思,语气较强. We mustn’t play on the road.

其他：

1.三个含有look的短语意思各不相同:

look for寻找 look at 看 look out for当心，留神

2.区分safe，safety，safely：

safe是形容词，译为“安全的” I am safe now. 现在我安全了。

safety是名词，译为“安全” road safety道路安全。

safely是副词，用于修饰动词或形容词，译为“安全地” We walk to school safely. 我们安全地走到学校。
