今天是世界海洋日，提醒着我们海洋在日常生活中的重要作用。

比利时是世界蓝色先行者 (Blue Leader) 之一，这是一群致力于保护海洋的国家共同构建的组织。一直以来我国在国际海洋保护方面发挥着关键作用。比利时已决定加入《海洋塑料宪章》的倡议，此倡议致力于将各国政府、企业和民间社会组织聚集在一起，将海洋塑料污染问题从源头进行治理，实现海洋可持续发展的目标。

Today’s World Oceans Day reminds us of the major role the oceans have in everyday life.

Belgium is one of the world’s Blue Leaders, which is a group of countries dedicated to protecting our ocean. Our country has been playing a key role in ocean conservation internationally for some time. Belgium has decided to join the Ocean Plastics Charter, an initiative that aims to bring together governments, businesses and civil society organizations under a commitment to a more resource-efficient and lifecycle approach to plastics stewardship on land and at sea.
