因“技术故障”，印度在发射前56分钟叫停“月船2号”发射。

据路透社14日晚报道，由于“技术故障”，印度在发射前不到一小时取消了“月船2号”月球任务。

“月船2号”计划本是印度在太空探索方面踏出的重要一步。如果成功，印度将成为继美国、前苏联和中国后，第四个在月球表面实现软着陆的太空大国。

The mission had been heralded as a significant step for India, as it attempts to realize its space ambitions. In the past 10 years, the Indian space agency has launched multiple missions into space to gain a better understanding of Mars and the moon.

Chandrayaan 2 will take off from the Sriharikota launch site, located on the coast of the Bay of Bengal 80 kilometers north of Chennai, using India’s most powerful rocket – the GSLV Mk.3. The launch is scheduled for 02:51 local time on July 15.

The ambitious project, which ISRO head Kailasavadivoo Sivan called “the most complex mission” his agency has “ever undertaken,” involves delivering an orbiter, a lander, and a rover to the Moon.
