那么，面向对象用英文怎么说呢？当然不可能是 face my wife 或是 face my husband 。

正确的说法如下：

object 和 program这两个单词没有什么好说的，至于oriented这个词，或许对一些人来说比较陌生：

oriented ['ɔ:rɪrntɪd]

adj. 导向的; 定向的;

orient [ˈɔriənt, -ˌɛnt, ˈor-]

vt. 指定方向;

adj. 东方的;

vi. 转向东方;

例句：

对于年龄较大的儿童，应该向他们展示如何识别地图方向并找到你的位置。

程序员们都知道，面向对象有三大特性：封装、继承、多态。这三个专业术语用英语如何表述呢？
