Let me tell you a bit about my university. Wenzhou-Kean University is a Chinese-American university. It has the characteristic of American university: freedom, which is consistent with the pursuit of the main character in the book of 《The Shawshank Redemption》that we want to share today.

温州肯恩大学是一所中美合办大学,它具有美式大学的特点：自由，这与我们今天想要分享的《肖申克的救赎》片段中主人公的追求一致。

In the novel, Andy, a banker, is given a life sentence for allegedly shooting his wife and lover, which means he will spend the rest of his life in Shawshank prison. The novel shows the fear of "the passage of time and the transformation of the environment" of individuals through the prison, which is a special background of compulsory deprivation of freedom and high emphasis on discipline.

小说中，银行家安迪因为被指控枪杀了妻子和其情人而被判无期徒刑，这意味着他将在肖生克监狱中度过余生。全文透过监狱这一强制剥夺自由、高度强调纪律的特殊背景来展现作为个体的人对“时间流逝、环境改造”的恐惧。

Stephen Edwin King is an American writer, who are also a screenwriter, op-ed writer, film director, producer, and actor. His representative works include ，The Shining, The Shawshank Redemption, The Stand, The Green Mile. His works carry on the great tradition of American literature, which pays attention to plot and atmosphere, and embody kinds of beautiful and tragic moral truths in the human soul.

斯蒂芬·埃德温·金是一个美国作家，他编写过剧本、专栏评论，曾担任电影导演、制片人以及演员。代表作品有《闪灵》、《肖申克的救赎》、《末日逼近》、《绿里奇迹》等。 他的作品继承了美国文学注重情节和气氛的伟大传统，体现出人类灵魂深处种种美丽和悲惨的道德真相”。

My name was written across the front in Andy's clear script. I took the envelope and left the rock where Andy had left it, and Andy's friend before him.

If you're reading this, then you're out. One way or another, you're out. And If you've followed along this far, you might be willing to come a little further. I think you remember the name of the town, don't you? I could use a good man to help me get my project on wheels. Meantime, have a drink on me - and do think it over. I will be keeping an eye out for you. Remember that hope is a good thing, Red, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies. I will be hoping that this letter finds you, and finds you well.
