Hangzhou is a city renowned for its own unique kind of beauty. Have you got a crush on the China roses blooming along the elevated expressways? Then you will also be fascinated by the sea of flowers in the White Horse Lake in Binjiang, where the “China Rose Runway” is becoming wildly known for its breathtaking beauty.

四月中下旬，白马湖公园二期的小岛上，各色月季竞相开放，红的、粉的、黄的……数十万朵盛开的月季花，将本来就很美的环岛夜光跑道，映衬成了“月季跑道”。

In the late April, hundreds of thousands of China rose flowers in full bloom with different colors of red, pink, yellow and so on are bursting out on the island of the Phase II of White Horse Lake Park. The beautiful luminous runway around the island becomes an even more beautiful “China Rose Runway”.

虽然被月季花簇拥的跑道只有400多米，却足够被冠以“更美跑道”的封号。

Though the rose-clustered part of the runway is only over 400 meters long, it can be titled as “the runway with even more beauty”.

在蓝天白云的映照下

花色不一的月季尽情释放着自己的美丽

红如火、粉像霞、白胜雪、黄似金

Tents are set up on the lawn where the spring is in its best time with bursting flowers and twittering birds. Walking, jogging, and cycling, people are enjoying their joyous time with children frolicking on the lawn.

月季花，又称“月月红”，被称为“花中皇后”，花期可从4月一直到9月，花开一般是红色，也有粉色、白色或黄色，品种繁多，花型饱满，有浓郁的香气，是很好的观赏植物，我国是月季的原产地之一，在十大名花的评选中，月季花排名第五。

China rose, with its scientific name of “Rosa chinensis Jacq.”, is also known as “the Queen of flowers”. With various kinds and colors, usually red and sometimes pink, white and yellow, China rose may flower from April to September with large inflorescence and strong fragrance, making it a very charming ornamental plant. As a native of China, China rose ranks No.5 in the top-ten famous flowers.
