1.「高考」NCEE

高考，全称「普通高等学校招生全国统一考试」，英文译为：

National College Entrance Examination，可以简写成 NCEE。

其他考试怎么说？

examination/exam 指正式的考试，比如入学考试，等级考试

test 平时的小考或小测验

quiz 指没有准备的随堂突击小测验

midterm 期中考试

final 期末考试

closed-book exam 闭卷考试

open-book exam 开卷考试

2.「考生」candidate

2020 年有 1071 万考生参加高考，「考生」可以简单地用 student(s) 表示，但用 candidate(s) 更准确。

candidate /ˈkændɪˌdeɪt/ n. [C] ① 应试者▸ Candidates are not allowed to use a calculator in this exam.这次考试，考生不可以使用计算器。② 候选人，申请者▸ a presidential candidate总统候选人

3.「加分」bonus points

2020年，黑龙江发布通知，被认定为烈士的医务人员子女参加普通高考、成人高考，在文化课统考成绩总分的基础上加20分。「加分」的英语是 bonus points。

【例】The ministry said in March that it would eliminate some preferential provisions that award bonus points to some students' total score, as part of its effort to promote a more fair and scientific selection process.教育部3月份表示，将取消部分加分优待条款，以使人才选拔程序更加公正、科学。

P.S. bonus points 还可以表示「消费积分」或「会员积分」

【例】The bonus points in the membership card shall become invalid at the maturity of the card.卡内积分将在会员卡到期之日起作废。

4.「高考状元」top scorers

高考状元 —— top scorers，也可以说 champions 或 top performers。

【例】In recent years, over-emphasis or even hype of the top scorers and highest enrollment rate received negative reviews. 近年来，过分强调甚至炒作高考“状元”和录取率引发负面评论。

5.「招生制度」 enrollment system

招生制度，enrollment system 或 admission system。

【例】The realization of educational justice demands a balanced development in education, an effective legal guarantee system and a sustained improvement in the enrollment system.教育公平的实现需要教育的均衡发展、有效的法制保障、招生制度的持续完善。

6.「监考老师」invigilator

invigilator. /ɪnˈvɪdʒɪleɪtə/ n. [C]. 监考人【例】Candidates should obey the examination hall rules, keep quiet, and follow the guidance of the invigilator.考生必须严格遵守考场纪律，保持肃静，听从监考人员指导。

7.「模拟考试」mock examination

mock examination / exam，模拟考试。也可以说 practice test，模拟测试。前者比较正式，规模也大于后者。

【例】Mock exams offer a good sampling of the kinds of questions you'll encounter and give you the opportunity to resolve them on your own time. 模拟考试为你提供可能遇到的各种题目的范本，并让你有机会用自己的时间解答这些问题。

8.「录取分数线」enrollment mark

录取分数线 —— enrollment mark，还可以说 enrollment score 或 admission score 。「最低录取分数」minimum enrollment mark 也是个很地道的表达方式。

【例】THU (Tsinghua University) says its enrollment scores for science and liberal arts are the highest in over 80% provinces and regions.清华大学称，在八成以上的省区，清华的文理科录取分数线都是最高的。

9.「录取通知书」admission notification

录取通知书，admission notification/notice 或者 enrollment certificates；也可以简单地说 letter of admission 或 college acceptance letter。

【例】Beijing EMS said it will deliver enrollment certificates from universities in the city to the national college entrance examinees next week.下周起，北京邮政速递将开始投递本市大部分高校录取通知书。
