考点一、call 的用法

网络热语"打call"是演唱会等现场活动中观众与表演者之间的一种互动形式, 被称为wota，源于日本。通常指台下观众们跟随音乐的节奏，按一定的规律，用呼喊、挥动荧光棒等方式，与台上的表演者进行互动，表达对表演者的支持与喜爱。call 本意为"呼喊、喊叫"，引申为"为…喝彩""支持、赞扬…"。

1. call 用作动词或名词 意为"喊叫，呼唤",相当于动词 shout。

I was walking in the street when someone called me.

2. 用作名词，意为"（电话）通话"，give sb. a call 给……打电话；make a phone call to sb. 给……打电话

(2) call sb. at 电话号码 意为"拨打……找某人"。

5. 其他用法

call in "召来，叫来"

1. some time 意为"一段时间、一些时间"

You can visit your grandparents and stay with them for some time during the vacation.

2. sometime 意为"在（过去或将来）某时"

—When are you going to visit China? 你打算什么时候来中国参观。

4. sometimes 意为"有时"，相当于 at times, from time to time。
