hardly后面加动词什么形式（Hardly不是hard的副词形式）

好多形容词只要加ly就能变身成为副词，而Hard绝对是其中又奇葩、用法又多的那个单词啦~

来几个栗子大家感受下：

After months without rain, the ground was too hard to plough.

You’ll have to make some hard decisions.

She has worked hard all her life.

Sales were hard hit by high interest rates.

Sales were hardly hit by high interest rates.

1.hard不仅是形容词也是副词

作形容词的时候：

①硬的：a hard wooden chair

②困难的=difficult

e.g. They’re a hard team to beat.

他们是一支很难打败的球队。

Telling my parents is going to be the hardest thing about it.

最难办的将是如何告诉我的父母。

③费力的

e.g. After a hard day at work, I just want to come home and put my feet up.

辛苦工作一天之后，我只想回家休息。

④艰难困苦的：a hard life

作副词的时候最常见的用法：

Work hard/study hard 努力工作/学习

e.g. Ella was concentrating very hard.

艾拉全神贯注。

也可以作用力地讲：

You need to hit the ball hard.

你要用力击球。

2.hardly只是一个副词

hardly的含义是：几乎不，几乎没有

My parents divorced when I was six, and I hardly knew my father.

我六岁时父母离婚，我对父亲几乎一无所知。

I can hardly believe it.

这简直让我难以置信。
