Go on record: 公开/正式发表（意见、见解、声明）

英文注释：To state something publicly or officially.

例句：

If a famous guy like you went on record in favor of my decision, I think other people would start to respect it as well.

如果像你一样的名人能够公开支持我的决定，我想其他人也会开始对这个决定尊重起来。

My friend says he'll go on record about the corruption at the firm.

我的朋友说他讲公开揭露公司的腐败。

In the wrong= wrong。 一般在表达某人犯错误时，我会使用in the wrong 来代替wrong, 这并不是说wrong 不可以用，只是通过使用不同的表达，来丰富我的口语，使其更加生动。

我们来看一下in the wrong 的英文注释：Having done, said, or assumed something incorrect or inappropriate.wrong; morally or legally incorrect.

例句：

The other driver was totally in the wrong—he hit me, after all!

都是另一个司机的错，毕竟是他撞了我。

I was in the wrong to assume that you two had reconciled. I should have checked before inviting you both to the party.

我不该错误地推测你俩和好了。我应该在邀请你俩来聚会之前确认一下的。

She is clearly in the wrong. She had no right to take the book.

Know of: 听说， 知道...的存在，略知。之所以推荐这句表达，是因为在我们想表达“我不知道”的句型时，首先想到的是 i do not know sth. 而如果学会 i know of no sth ，会使你的口语表达更加丰富。

英文注释：1. To be aware of someone or something.2. To know who or what someone or something is without having direct contact or experience with them or it.

例句：

My car's been making a noise lately—do you know of a reputable mechanic I can take it to?:

我的车最近老是发出一些噪音，你知道哪里有知名的修理工可以帮我看看吗？

"Have you gotten any strange phone calls recently?" "No, not that I know of. Why?"
