The Bee and Zeus

A queen bee flew from Mount Imetus to Olympus and presented Zeus with some fresh honey from her hive as a gift. Zeus was very happy to receive the tribute and promised to give the queen whatever she wanted. The queen bee said that she would be very grateful if a bee could be given a sting with which to kill the man who looted the honey. Zeus was very angry when he heard this request, for he loved men. However, as soon as he had said the word, he had to give the sting to the bee as promised. Zeus gave the bee the sting, but every time the bee used the sting, the needle remained in the wound and the bee died.

Evil men will reap the consequences.

蜜蜂和宙斯
