关于walk的短语及翻译（smileat）

常见的搭配有smile at sb/sth，smile to oneself，smile on/upon，smile with等。

但smile to sb所见不多，甚至有词典说是不可以，尽管也可以见到几例。

《朗文当代高级英语辞典》第五版第2394页smile词条

Susan smiled at him and waved. 苏珊朝他笑着挥挥手。

She had to smile at his enthusiasm (= she was amused by it).

他的热情把她逗笑了。

I haven’t had much to smile about lately. 近来我没什么开心的事情。

smile to yourself

Mark read the message and smiled to himself (= smiled or felt pleased).

马克读着那条信息，笑了起来。

“I’m delighted to meet you.” George said, smiling at the girl.

“很高兴见到你。”乔治笑着对那女孩说。

对某人笑是smile at someone，不要说smile to someone。

尽管有以上例句，还是不建议使用smile to sb，smile at sb, smile to oneself, smile on/upon sth (sb少用，高考英语阅读已有出现）为好——毕竟“高考英语是个有决定性的考试”。
