小波系列英文绘本（Eason读绘本第5期OFR-L6）
让每一个普通的瞬间都变得有趣和值得纪念，大家好，我是米米，他是Eason。Eason今年5周半，最喜欢的一套分级读物就是《牛津阅读树》了，今天Eason将阅读Level 6《Ice City》。
牛津树体系Eason阅读部这套书英文全称《Oxford Reading Tree》，中文名《牛津阅读树》，相信大家并不陌生，米米做了一个思维导图如下：
对于1-3阶中的22个故事，单词和句型都非常简单，家长们在家里完全可以自己结合音频材料搞定，那么对于其他的部分，比如拼读和拓展阅读，接下来我会在《Eason读绘本》中做相应的补充。
阅读的主要目标是Read to Learn （在阅读中吸收知识），但是这套书之所以称之为读物，还是要把重心放在对故事内容的理解上，就如同我们大学中的泛读，不要特别纠结一些不认识的单词。
从另外一个角度来说，既然不认识，那就可以通过阅读学习由不认识到认识。如果想作为精读材料学习，当然也是不错的，看个人选择。
选择理由选择这套绘本作为Eason的英语启蒙内容，提前是有做功课的，考虑到以下几个方面：
1.故事贴近孩子的生活、接地气，还有一些小游戏，孩子会因为喜欢，而愿意去读；
2.可以学到大量的生活中可用的词汇和句型，学以致用；
3.每一次进阶能看到主人公们的成长和变化，内容设计上非常合理。
4.会让孩子们获得创造灵感，富有想象空间。
5.特别多的场景适合我们来做Role-play等拓展活动。
下面，就来给大家介绍下故事中的主人公们，直接上图。
根据我的教学经验，提供大家一些关于阅读的小技巧参考，便于孩子们快速地了解故事。
1.从封面开始到封底结束，首先快速看图（而非文本）了解故事梗概；
2.对于4-9阶的故事，裸听2-3遍音频；
3.对文章内容分析、运用阅读技巧勾勒出文章核心内容、知识拓展；
4.跟读内容并反复练习发音，培养语感；
5.部分单词和句型记忆并不断练习造句；
6.可能的话，家长和小朋友进行问答练习；
7.坚持。
《Ice City》播画我们先来看这本绘本的整个插画部分（从左到右，从上到下的顺序），对于故事内容，米米只做部分内容的讲解和提炼。
内容讲解:
P5-P7: Where did Mum and Dad go?
爸爸妈妈去哪了？
Mum and Dad took the children to Ice City.
“So this is Ice City,” said Biff. “What a place!”
“It’s all made of ice,” said Chip. “This is so exciting.”
P8-P9: What is the Ice City made of?
这个冰城是用什么做的？
They went to the Ice Palace. It had scenes from fairy tales. They were made out of ice.
“I can see Puss in Boots,” said Kipper.
P10-11: Which fairy tale scenes did the children spot?
孩子们发现了哪些童话故事场景？
“And here is Mother Goose,” said Mum. “Look at all the geese.”
“Guess who this is,” said Biff. “Look at her dress.”
P12-13
“See. It’s Cinderella and the Ugly Sisters,” said Biff.
“The sisters were not nice to Cinderella,” said Kipper.
P14-15: Why did Biff say sorry to Chip?
为什么Biff对Chip说抱歉呢？
They went skating. Kipper did not like skating.
Oh no! Biff hit Chip in the face. It was an accident.
P16-P17
A nurse looked at Chip’s face. “It’s fine,” she said.
“We all need some dinner,” said Dad. “Let’s go and eat.”
P18-19
They went to The Ice House. It was made of ice.
They had a slice of pizza and some juice.
“Even my glass is made of ice,” said Kipper.
P20-21: What did they do after dinner?
饭后他们做了什么？
After dinner, Dad took the children on the bobsleigh ride.
“The bobsleigh will bump,” said Dad.
P22-23
The ride began. “It’s like a real bobsleigh,” said Kipper.
“It’s exciting!” called Biff. “It’s like a real race,” said Chip.
P24-25
The sun began to go down. “Look at Ice City in the sunset,” said Mum.
“It’s all lit up by the sun,” said Chip.
P26-27
The moon rose. Ice City went silver..
“It’s all lit up by the moon,” said Biff. “It looks so peaceful.”
“Time for bed,” said Dad.
P28: Where will the family sleep?
“What a super day,” said Biff.
