借问酒家何处有,牧童遥指杏花村。

Is hereabouts to be found,”

Doth point to afar and say.

The mourner’s heart is going to break on the way.

A cowherd points to a cot amid apricot flowers.

(1) The Mourning Day begins by a drizzling rain and ends by the mourner’s sorrow in wine. This quatrain enjoys great popularity in China.)
