教学过程:

Step1: Greeting and a free talk

Step2: Introduce my school

1. 教师指着教室问学生: This is our new classroom. Do you like our classroom? What’s in the classroom ? 学生做出相应的回答。教师接着问: How many classrooms are there in our school? Do you like our school? What else can you see in the school ? Look! This is a map of our school .接下来教师借助校园分布图教授生词。教师在教学过程中引入句型“It’s on the first floor .”,为下一课时进一步学习序数词做铺垫。

通过教师领读和听音跟读,让学生掌握本课时四个生词 school, classroom, library, playground,的正确读音。在练习library 的发音时,可复习已学过的含辅音连缀的单词,如ice-cream , brother , friend , hungry。

2. Play a game.

教师快速变幻手中的单词卡片,学生用英语快速回答卡片上是什么。

e.g. T: What is that?

S: It's school.school, s—c—h—o—o—l.

Part 1:温故知新,快速热身

T: Good morning everyone.

S: Good morning teacher.

T: What do you do at this morning?

S: I brush my teeth and wash my face, and then eat a breakfast, finally go to school.

T: Great!

Part 2:真实呈现,准确感知

1. Learn new words: classroom, library, playground.

2. 老师领读,让学生快速熟悉这些单词。

3. 对话练习

T: Where are we?

S: We are in classroom.

T: Yes, if we want to borrow books, where should we go?

S: Go to the library.

T: Great! If we want to do sports, where should we go?

S: To the playground.

Part 3:分步操练, 真实体验

老师拿出写有classroom, library, playground卡片贴在黑板上,然后请同学上来介绍我们的学校。

S: It’s my school, it’s very beautiful.

This is my classroom, we study there.

That is our library, it has lots of books.

Here is the playground, you can do sports on the playground.

Part 4:熟练运用,拓展延伸

请两位同学分别扮演课本上的老师和学生,朗读对话。

Part 1: Getting ready for the class.

1. Warming up exercise.

Singing English songs or performing action rhymes that learned in the previous lessons.

2. Play a “Simon says” game.

For revising the instructions. e.g. Stand up. Come here . Point to a ….

Part2: Revision of the old lesson

1. Draw some pictures of classroom objects on a small blackboard before hand. Show the Ps a word-card of one item above and say: “Put the word under the right picture”.

2. Then invite some quick children to take the role until all the words and the pictures are matched.

Part 3: Teaching of the new lesson

1. Teach the sentences: Where is the computer room?

Pretend to draw a picture on a plastic transparent paper on a projector

And have a right drawing, say: “Oh, I can show you. ”

Ask for other classroom objects as well to show the meaning of the request. When the Ps understand and respond to the request, say:

“Thank you.” to them.

2. Teach: Here you are.

When there are many objects on the teacher’s desk. Ask the Ps try to get an object with the request: “I can show you” Say “Here you are.”

When any pupil requests rightly. At the same time, encourage them to say

“Thank you ” to the teacher.

3. Practice reading the sentences above.

Get one pupil by one pupil to practice in a group or in a row.

4. Play the tape, have the Ps repeat after the recording.

Part 4: Learning activities

1. Ask the Ps to act out the dialogue in pairs. Then invite a few pairs to perform it before the class.

2. Play a guessing game.

S: It’s my school, it’s very beautiful.
