Chapter 03

Maple工作页面

(1)主文档:即主工作区。用户可以把它想象成包含有各种数学和绘图工作的Microsoft Word。

(2)面板区:汇集了数学工具和特殊的数学符号,用户可以将它们直接拖拽到工作区中使用。面板区中最重要的面板当属“表达式”、“微积分”、“矩阵”、“常用符号”和“希腊字母”。Maple提供了总共约30个面板,用户可以在面板区空白处单击鼠标右键,并单击“序列面板”来进行选择。

(1)Main document: the main work area. Users can think of it as Microsoft Word containing all kinds of math and drawing work.

(2)Panel area: A collection of mathematical tools and special mathematical symbols, users can directly drag and drop them into the work area for use. The most important panels in the panel area are "Expressions", "Calculus", "Matrix", "Common Symbols" and "Greek Letters". Maple provides a total of about 30 panels, which the user can select by right-clicking an empty space in the panel area and clicking "Sequence Panel".

(3)Toolbar: Maple provides two main toolbars. By default, the Standard Toolbar contains general buttons for saving, zooming, etc., as well as some Maple-specific buttons. The context-sensitive toolbar contains some tools and operation commands related to the object (such as mathematical expressions, graphics, animation). The content of this toolbar will change with different selected object faces. The table below shows an important toolbar button.

(4)Input and output: Any expression displayed in a mathematical model in Maple can theoretically be executed. However, in practical applications, users may need some formulas to be executable, while others are only used for explanatory statements. Most executable expressions are considered input, and output is shown in blue, usually centered on the screen.

(5)Drawing and image area: Drawings, animations, still pictures and some other elements can be included in a single Maple file.

(6)Chapters and sub-chapters: Users can group the content into several collapsible chapters and sub-chapters. Documents can be expanded or collapsed by clicking on the small gray triangle icon.
