少儿英语情景对话自我介绍（趣味英语小课堂）

作为女生，每个月都会迎接一位熟悉的亲戚——大姨妈。由于每个人的体质不同，对姨妈的反应也不同，有的人会肚子痛，有的人会心情烦躁，总之都不是什么特别愉快的体验。不过，来姨妈是正常的生理现象，Getting your period is a normal part of life for most women and is nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed of.

那么在英语中，如何正确且不尴尬地表达“来大姨妈”了呢？



我们首先来一起学习一下月经的科学说法：月经，即menstruation，也可以说成menstrual period或period

口语中，我们可以说：

1.I am on my period.

我们可以跟老师说：

Teacher: Excuse me, why are you late to class?

Girl: I'm on my period.

跟男朋友说：

BoyFriend: Why don't you want to have sex with me?

Girlfriend: I'm on my period.

跟朋友说：

Friend: Oh my god! Why are you eating so much?

Girl: I'm on my period.

I’m on my period is a girl's excuse for everything.. and it works.

姨妈来了是女生万能的借口，而且还真的都挺奏效。



2.T.O.M. is here.

这句话的意思不是汤姆在这里哦，TOM=Time Of the Month

Lucy, you look a little weird today , that time of the month has come ？

Lucy, 你今天看起来怪怪的，大姨妈来了？

3. It’s the time of the month.

其实和我们汉语里的月经期是差不多的意思。

4.I’m on my days.

我正处于那几天。

5.Aunty (Aunt) Flo is here. / Aunt Flo is visiting.

大姨妈来了。

Flo在这其实是个文字游戏，其实就是flow，暗指每个月的流血事件。

6.Riding the cotton pony.

I had cramps all day because I'm riding the cotton pony.

我来例假了，疼了一整天。



"Why is she so angry today?"

她今天怎么这么生气啊？

"I'm not sure, maybe she's riding the cotton pony."

不知道，可能是大姨妈来了吧。

7.MC是 Menstrual Cycle 的缩写，指女性的月经周期

Don't annoy me, I'm in my MC these days.

别惹我，我这几天来大姨妈了。

下面呢，我们再来学习一些sanitary products（卫生用品）

我们常用的卫生巾，叫sanitary pads / sanitary towels

欧美国家女性很少使用卫生巾，她们普遍更喜欢用卫生棉条，棉塞，tampon 。

每个月，基本上85%的女性都会有至少以下一种症状：痛经、浮肿或脾气暴躁。

最后呢，奉劝大家，尤其是误入的男士，if your girlfriend is on her period, you need to be nice, listen and shut up. 请关爱身边来姨妈的女孩子吧，但是最好不要一边打游戏，一边告诉她“多喝热水”哦。
