我的家乡，在粤北秀丽的韶关。我们村是一条叫做安岗的小村子。我的快乐童年就是在这里度过的。我的晨间英语读书声曾经响彻在这片小小的土地上。我们村，以前又称马鞍岗，有一种说法是因为家家户户的屋顶好像柔顺的马鞍得名，地理优越。北有澌溪河与澌溪山，南有船形的大石山，东有丹霞山，西有莲塘山、蝴蝶岭。有人这么形容，我们村就像一个独特的藕叶形状的承露盘，容纳天然精华，吐故蓄新。我也时常在村外我们家的鱼塘边上放声朗读英语，很是惬意。

小时候，除了刻苦学习和跑步锻炼之外，我就发现村子里有不少好去处。在村子的西边，有云龙寺，相传六祖慧能禅师初次南下时曾在此栖息过，之后仰山禅师也于此传教布道。云龙寺后方的云龙寺塔，建于894-901年，以纪念仰山慧寂禅师。他是中国五大禅宗之一的沩仰宗创始人之一，袁州（今江西宜春市）仰山佛教开山祖师。村里的思诒堂，是一栋四合院式的清代建筑，正是1928年第一届中共仁化县委员会所在地。浸润在这般环境下，我的童年学习时代过得不无平淡。

My Story of Learning English and Japanese~16

My hometown is situated in Shaoguan, a pretty city in the north of Guangdong Province. My village is a small one called An'gang(Pacific Hummock), in which I spent my happy childhood. My loud voice of morning reading of English materials once resounded through this small land. This village, formerly known as Ma'an Gang(Saddle Hummock), has a saying that it was named because the roof of every house looked like a supple saddle, but with superior geography. There are Sixi River and Sixi Mountain in the north, the boat-shaped Dashi Mountain in the south, Danxia Mountain in the east, Liantang Mountain and Butterfly Ridge in the West. Some people say that our village seems like a unique lotus-leaf-shaped bearing tray, which contains natural essence and spice up new storage. I often read English aloud on the edge of our fish pond outside the village, which was very comfortable.

When I was a child, in addition to studying hard, jogging and running, I found many good places to visit in the village. In the west of the village, there is Yunlong Temple(Temple of Cloudy Dragon) . It is said that Zen Master Huineng, the sixth ancestor of Zen, once lived here when he first went southward. Later, a Zen master from Yangshan Mountain also preached here. The Yunlong Temple Tower behind Yunlong Temple(Temple of Cloudy Dragon) was built between 894-901 to commemorate Zen Master Huiji of Yangshan sect. He is one of the founders of Wei-Yang sect, one of the five Zen sects in China, and the founder of Yangshan Buddhism in Yuanzhou (now Yichun City, Jiangxi Province). Siyi Hall(Hall of Missing & Thanksgiving) in the village is a quadrangle building of the Qing Dynasty. It was ever the seat of the First Renhua County Committee of the Communist Party of China in 1928. When I was infiltrated in such an environment, my childhood was not dull.
