首先我们来学习一下“搭讪”用英语怎么说？

一般来说，搭讪都是想跟一个陌生人开启一段对话，在英语中可以用：strike up a conversation with sb 来表示。

I find it difficult to strike up a conversation with a stranger.

我觉得和陌生人搭讪攀谈很难。

还有一个短语 hit on me，小伙伴们千万不要翻译成“打我”。

虽然这里的"hit"有击打的意思，但其实这个短语是表示“搭讪我”的意思。

" hit it off "这个习语来源于17世纪的古单词演变而来。

17世纪时单词" hyttan " 和" hittan "表示偶遇，遇见。

后来这两个词演变成"hit 击打"的意思，但"偶遇、遇见"的意思却在习语中被保留了下来。

其实 "hit it off" 就是"很投缘、合得来、一拍即合"的意思，即表示双方因共同兴趣或话题而相谈甚欢。

Hit 是打、打击、碰撞、猜中、批评的意思，但“hit the road”这个词组的意思却是“离开某地或者开始旅行”的意思。

这在美国人的日常交流中非常常见，前往学校、准备回家、去公园、去工作……当人们前往一个地方或开始做什么事情，随口就蹦出了“hit the road”。

hit the hay / sack

“hit the hay/sack”是指“我准备休息了(暗示要睡觉了)”，hay是干草，sack是装干草的袋子，这两个词都可以。

古时的欧洲人都是睡在装着干草的袋子上，hit 这个词不是击打的意思，而是表达了迫不及待要躺下休息的心情或者一头栽倒在床上放松的动作。

4.Ask open-ended questions.问开放式问题。A good way to keep a conversation going is to ask questions that don’t have a yes or no answer.使聊天进行下去的一个好方法就是要问一些不只用“是”或“不是”来回答的问题。

5.Be open and honest.思想开放而且要诚实。Being honest with people makes conversation flow so much easier, and builds good relationships!对人诚实能使聊天更轻松，还能建立良好的关系！

6.Frame your views for the other person.提出对方赞同的观点。Try to explain your viewpoint in a way that is inoffensive to the other person.尽量在解释自己观点时不冒犯对方。

7.Meet them where they are at.聊天要适合对方的水平。Short and easy to understand leads to good conversation.简单明了是聊天的关键。
