定义：表示现在正在进行或发生的动作，也可表示当前一段时间内的活动或现阶段正在进行的动作。

常见的信号词：

现在进行时的构成

时态构成：

be 动词的现在分词形式( v-ing 形式）

动词的现在分词的变化规则之一

（1）一般在词尾加-ing，如：

read - reading

play - playing

look - looking

eat - eat ing

（2）以不发音的e结尾的词先把去掉再加-ing，如：

take - taking have - having

（3）以一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音结尾的词，应双写最后的辅音字母，再加-ing，如：

sit - sitting

swim - swimming

run - running

shop - shop ping

（4）特殊变化，如：

lie - ly ing

1、肯定句：

They are waiting for buses.

主语 be 动词-ing ＋其他

２、否定句：

They are not (aren't) waiting for buses.

现在进行时中的一般疑问句

➢ 一般疑问句及其回答：

问句—直接把be提前；

肯定回答：Yes, 主语 be .

否定回答：No, 主语 be not.Is she playing badminton?

She is playing the badminton.

Yes, she is. / No she isn't.

现在进行时中的特殊疑问句

➢ 特殊疑问句及其回答：

问句—特殊疑问词 一般疑问句；

回答：主语 be动词 动词-ing ＋其他

现在进行时句型口诀

主语在前be在后,现在分词跟着走,其他成分不可丢。变一般很简单,把be 提到句子前。否定句也不难,be后要把not添。还有一点要注意,动作提问doing替。

现在进行时的用法

1. 说话的时候正在发生的动作, 时间标志: now, at the moment等。

Linda's brother is watching TV now.

What are they doing at the moment?

2. 现阶段一直在进行的动作，时间标志:these days, this week, this month等。

These days we are helping the farmers work on the farm.

They are having a test this week.

Mr. Cheng is visiting our village this month.

3．表示说话人的情感，当其与always, often, forever, continually, constantly等副词连用时,表示重复的动作,有极大的感情色彩,表示不满或满意。

She is always interfering in my affairs.

她老是干预我的事. (表不满)

The students are making progress constantly.

学生们在不断进步.（表满意）

4. 表示最近按计划或安排要进行的动作,可用来表示将来时,但此时，一般要与表示将来的时间状语连用,而且仅限于少量动词，如go, come,leave, start, arrive, return, sleep等。

I am leaving later.

Are you going to Tianjin tomorrow？

How many of you are coming to the party next week？

5. 在句中出现了Look，Listen，Can't you see? 等暗示词时。

Look! Maria and Tom are dancing under the tree.

Listen! Our English teacher is singing the English song.

Many children are swimming in the river. Can't you see?

6. 有的现在进行时句子和一般现在时同义。用现在进行时表示问者的

关切心情.

How are you feeling today? （How do you feel today?）

I am looking forward to your next visit.（I look forward to your next visit.）

Why are you looking so sad? （Why do you look so sad?）
