一场牵动万人的救援行动（一场牵动人心的救援）

最近几天，一场与时间赛跑的救援牵动了全世界的心。

6月23日，泰国“野猪少年足球队”12名小球员和1名教练，在进入泰国北部清莱府一处国家公园溶洞内探险后与外界失联。一场多国联合的救援行动随即展开。

终于，在被暗无天日的溶洞围困18天后，13人在当地时间7月10日晚全部获救。

20点11分，参与救援的泰国海豹突击队在脸书上许确认这一消息。

"We are not sure if this is a miracle, a science, or what. All thirteen Wild Boars are now out of the cave," the post read.

“我们不知道这是奇迹、科学还是别的什么。但13名‘野猪’队的成员都已经离开了山洞。”

在随后的新闻发布会上选出，泰国清莱府府尹那荣萨宣布营救圆满成功！

Rescue operation chief Narongsak Osottanakorn told reporters that everyone trapped in the Thai cave were taken to the hospital in Chiang Rai City, adding that their families will visit them soon.

"I can officially say that the rest of the boys have been rescued. Their parents are going home to take a shower and change. They should be able to visit the children through the glass tonight."

How were they rescued?

那荣萨在首日救援后向外界介绍了救援方式：营救人员带领被救出的孩子们穿过了黑暗、狭窄和扭曲的地下通道，里面的水流强劲且浑浊。

A team of expert divers guided the boys and their coach through darkness and submerged passageways toward the mouth of the cave system.

英国广播公司（BBC）这样描述了救援过程：

The process included a mixture of walking, wading, climbing and diving along guide ropes. Wearing full-face masks – which are easier for novice divers than traditional respirators – each boy was accompanied by two divers, who also carried his air supply.

The effort to get the 12 boys and their football coach out of the cave was a truly global operation. The rescuers were a mix of international divers collaborating with Thai navy Seals.‍

7月2日晚，两名英国潜水员沃兰森和斯坦顿最先找到13名受困人员。他们把孩子们存活的消息和视频第一时间告诉了全世界，让人们的信心重新点燃。

British diver John Volanthen’s voice was the first one that the boys and their coach heard after days of being trapped in the darkness underground.

Together with his fellow diver Richard Stanton and another caving expert, Robert Harper, they joined the rescue operation three days after the football team went missing.

尽管洞穴外聚集了来自全世界的潜水高手，但缺一个关键性人物——一个懂得洞穴潜水的专业医生。如果没有专业医生的检查和评估，人们不敢把虚弱的孩子们带进冰冷的水里。

During the operation, he left the cave each day only after the last rescued boy had gone.

Dr Richard Harris's boss, Dr Andrew Pearce, confirmed the news of Dr Harris' father's death shortly after the team was rescued, saying it had been a "tumultuous week with highs and lows."

"It is with great sadness that I confirm that Harry's dad passed away last night a short time after the successful rescue operation in Thailand," he said in a statement.

7月6日凌晨2点左右，一位名叫沙曼的前泰国海豹突击队队员在救援过程中不幸牺牲。泰国政府确认这13人的受困地点后，沙曼主动前往，加入志愿者的行列，为被困人员运送氧气，却在回程时因自身氧气不足死亡。

Saman Gunan, a 38-year-old former Thai Navy SEAL, died on his way out of the cave, where he had been delivering air tanks on July 6.

"It was sad news: a former Seal who volunteered to help died last night about 2 am," Chiang Rai deputy governor Passakorn Boonyaluck told reporters, adding "his job was to deliver oxygen (in the cave). He did not have enough on his way back."

Support around the globe

除了各国专业救援力量的参与，这次救援还吸引来全球各界的目光。

在救援一度陷入绝望之时，智利矿难生还者马里奥·塞普韦达在社交媒体上发出视频，为少年们打气。

2010年智利矿难中，33名矿工被困地下69天，最终全部获救。

Eight years ago, 33 former gold miners were freed after 69 days trapped underground at the San Jose mine in northern Chile.

Mario Sepulveda, one of the miners, sent his greetings and "a lot of strength" to the trapped boys and their families.

特斯拉CEO马斯克也在关注救援进展。7月9日，为营救被困在山洞里的泰国少年，马斯克携团队与自制迷你潜艇前往救援。

马斯克说，这种小型潜水艇“非常轻，可以穿过狭窄的水道，而且极其坚固”，能容纳下一名小孩子。

After sending a team of engineers from SpaceX and the Boring Company to join the rescue, Elon Musk posted on social media that he had visited the operation's command center, where he said he had left a mini-submarine that had been designed to carry a trapped football team to safety.

不过，救援负责人婉拒称，马斯克团队的迷你潜艇虽十分精致，但对本次救援不实用。

"The equipment they brought to help us with is not practical to our mission," Narongsak Osotthanakorn explained.

"Even though their equipment is technologically sophisticated, it doesn't fit with our mission to go in the cave."

国际足联主席因凡蒂诺也致信泰国足协，邀请这批小球员被营救出后赴莫斯科观看7月15日世界杯决赛。

FIFA president Gianni Infantino wrote to the head of the Football Association of Thailand saying: “If, as we all hope, they are reunited with their families in the coming days and their health allows them to travel, FIFA would be delighted to invite them to attend the 2018 World Cup final as our guests."

“我们盼望他们今后几天能够脱险并与家人团聚，在健康状况允许的情况下，国际足联很高兴邀请他们观看2018年世界杯决赛。”

不过医院方面说，这些少年需要在医院静养，他们或许没法飞去俄罗斯看世界杯决赛，但至少可以躺在床上看电视直播。
